07/17/25 – Just a quick post. Today marks 17 years since that I was first diagnosed.
I
have nothing to give you as far as medical update go. All I can say is it’s
good to be alive!
I do
recall when I was first diagnosed, my co-workers gave me a number of gifts as I
was getting ready to take a leave of absence to begin treatments. One gift I recall was a T-Shirt,
that all my co-workers signed, that had the words: “Nothing’s gonna change my
world”. This is a line from the Beatle song, “Across the Universe”. I figured that
this was a perfect song to share with you today.
Here
is a YouTube link to the song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6T7cyHwlfFQ&list=RD6T7cyHwlfFQ&start_radio=1
I perceived that there is
nothing better for them than to be joyful and to do good as long as they live;
also that everyone should eat and drink and take pleasure in all his toil—this
is God's gift to man. Ecclesiastes 3:12-13
